Hotplate PLC-2822
Heating plate PLC-2822 with a glass-ceramic surface is designed for heating, keeping warm, evaporating and drying solutions, mixtures, samples and specimens while controlling the temperature and heating time. Heating temperature and temperature maintenance time are set by the operator.
The plate allows heating in the following modes of setting the heating temperature:
- setting the temperature of the heating surface of the plate;
- setting the temperature of the heated sample (when the plate is additionally equipped with an external temperature sensor).
The plate allows heating in the following heating time control modes:
- heating during the set heating time, after the set time the heating stops automatically;
- heating without time limit.
Design features
The PLC-2822 plate has a graphical display that displays the current and set temperature of the heating surfaces, as well as the set time and time until the end of heating.
The plate has a heating surface made of glass ceramic which allows for faster heating and faster cooling of the surface.
The body of the plate is made of corrosion-resistant steel.
The design of the plate protects the body, electronic components and controls from liquids spilled onto the heating surface.
Operating features
Two modes of operation of the plate allow maintaining the temperature of the heating surface for a specified time or without time limit. The display shows both current and st heating parameters.
During the operation of the plate the user can change the time and/or heating temperature.
When the plate is turned off the settings of the last operating mode are saved.
For safety reasons the plate has a hot surface indicator that works even when the mains switch is turned off.
