Automatic installations for verification of electricity meters

Automatic multifunctional installation for verification of electric meters is designed for adjustment and verification and calibration of single-phase electronic and induction meters of electric energy of 0.5S and less accuracy classes, both in automatic and manual modes.
Installation complies with the IEC 60736:1982 requirements , "Test apparatus for electrical energy meters", IEC 62053, "Apparatus for measuring AC electrical energy".
FEATURES:
  • On the stand, you can perform operations such as:

- self-heating tests,
- checking the starting current,
- test without load (self-propelled),
- error check (accuracy class).


  • PWM (pulse width modulator) is used to amplify the voltage and current at the output of the stand, which provides high efficiency (efficiency is > 85%) and reduces heating. PWM has functions of fault checking, presetting, warning and protection.
  • Possibility of checking meters with shunt type current sensor.
  • The unit has the function of checking the correct operation of the meter clock
  • Installation allows additional tests: meters with an interface to choose from RS-485 or RS-232 (checking the communication function)
  • Possibility to record in the protocol of verification of meter numbers using a barcode scanner.
  • Measurement generator uses the latest digital technology to control sine harmonic waves of frequency, amplitude and phase control.
  • For automatic testing of various meters, the test bench uses a test program combined with WINDOWS98/2000/XP/7 operating systems.
