Automatic installations for verification of electricity meters

Metrological characteristics of installations are determined by the metrological characteristics of the device for checking electrical safety parameters.

NEVA-Test devices use GPT/GPI-700A series devices.

NEVA-Test M devices use CS267 series instruments.

Insulation testers are designed to test insulation for breakdown by AC and DC voltage of electric energy meters and other electrical products under production conditions and in an electrical laboratory.

Installations are available in various design options depending on:

- type of hinge devices: for single-phase and three-phase meters;

- the number of hinge devices for connecting the checked meters.

The installation allows testing both in manual and automatic modes - the end of the test at the end of the specified time.

Power supply of the installations is carried out from the AC network (220 ᄆ 10%) V, (50 ᄆ 2) Hz, with a non-sinusoidality coefficient of not more than 5%.

Installations allow testing simultaneously all electric energy meters installed on the hinge devices (the number of hinge devices is determined by the type of installation) both in manual and automatic modes.

Installations can be equipped with either a mechanical screen - protective shutters or an electronic screen - optical protection.

Protective shutters block the supply voltage to the electrical safety tester when open. Thus, high voltage can be applied to the meters under test only when the shutters are closed.
