Device for measuring air permeability MT 160 (type VPTM.M, VPTM-1, VPTM-2, VPTM-3, VPTM-4) is designed to measure the air permeability of textile materials and products from them in accordance with GOST 12088-77, GOST ISO 9237-2013. Device is used in testing laboratories at light industry enterprises, in standardization and certification centers to determine the breathability of various types of textile materials, including technical fabrics, non-woven materials, felt, artificial fur, knitted fabrics and finished textile products.

The principle of operation of the device is based on the discharge of air in the measuring unit using a pump, the pressure drop during the passage of air through the sample is maintained constant, and the flow rate of air passing through a given area of the material under test per unit time is measured.
